Golang Job: Software Developer

The Opportunity: We are seeking a Python and Go Developer for a long-term, remote project.

• Role: Python and Go Developer
• Experience: 3-5 years
• Location: Virtual
• Duration: 12-month+ contract

Required Experience & Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or other related field
• 2+ years proven experience delivering solutions with GO and Python
• 2+ years proven experience delivering solutions with Golang
• Experience developing RESTful API microservices
• Experience with GIT, GitLab, or GitHub and CI/CD concepts and best practices

Desired Experience:

• Excellent communication skills including the ability to effectively communicate with internal and external teams
• Ability to work independently or collaboratively with our team, and build strong working relationships with a community of like-minded developers
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and changing priorities with a positive attitude and a willingness to adapt
• Linux or Windows operating systems, cloud native technologies, Javascript, Java, Puppet, Icinga, Jira, and Confluence
• Object-oriented programming, test-driven development
• Self-motivated to deliver on commitments and learn new technologies
